Mountain activity courses  

Leader Training & Assessment: March 2020 – Sat 21st to Sun 22nd (travelling to the venue area Fri 20th evening). weekend at Canolfan Awyr Agored Rhyd Ddu Outdoor Centre.  For Network & Leaders and Explorers on invitation on demonstrating expertise on other CMAT events. Mountain Awareness Course: November 2020 – Sun 22nd for Explorers, Network & Leaders. Boxford Spinney. Event Leader: Roger Dann.

Adventurous activity 1st aid course: December 2020 – Sat 5 th to Sun 6 th for Explorers, Network & Leaders. Bradfield Park. Event Leader: Malcolm Bell.

Tomohawk courses

Half-day courses for better awareness of the risks of tomohawk throwing and how to structure and run a safe session. 
Venue: Mildenhall Scout HQ
Date: 23rd February 2020
Booking links are below, you will only need one session
AM session- 9.15am-1.00pm
PM session- 11.25am-3.15pm
Please bring a note pad and pen and wear sturdy leather shoes. Tea/coffee/biscuits provided.
£10 to be paid within 14 days of booking or your place will be cancelled.
Cheques payable to ‘Suffolk Scouts Lackford Account’ and sent to 24 North Terrace, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7AB. Write your name on the back of the cheque.
