Hello, young chefs!
We are having our first Deben District Cooking competition for Cubs. We have been running it for many years for Scouts, and it seems like tremendous fun we are bringing to the Cubs section. We are stepping into the exciting world of flavors, creativity, and a dash of friendly competition. Are you ready to mix, mash, and make some culinary magic?
Here’s the challenge: you’ll be using your skills and imagination to create dishes that will wow our judges! Don’t worry—it’s not just about being the best chef; it’s about having fun, trying new things, and maybe discovering your inner kitchen superstar.
Remember, it’s not just about the taste; it’s also about presentation and teamwork. So, roll up your sleeves, put on your aprons, and let’s turn up the heat (safely, of course)!
Event Details
Date: Sunday, 16 November 2025
Time: 10:00 – 14:00 (Hall will be open from 09:45)
Location: 1st Kesgrave HQ, Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave, Ipswich IP5 1JF
Theme: Lets Get Cooking
Leaders Information:
Cost: £20 per Team, including Food
Teams:
- 3 or 4 Cubs per Team
- 1 Adult per Team
- Need to provide their own equipment.
- 1 Team per Pack (Maximum of 16 Teams). There may be an opportunity for Packs to have additional teams. Depending on how many groups sign up, I can confirm closer to the time.
