District Survival Camp 2026

This camp will be a step up from the usual—we’re talking a skill-focused, hands-on experience centred around the Scout Survival Badge. More details on the badge can be found here: Scout Survival Skills.

Be prepared for a bigger challenge as there will be no gas for cooking. Instead, you’ll be:

  • learning Knife and axe skills
  • Fire lighting and cooking over open fires
  • Shelter building and sleeping in your shelters
  • learning Survival first aid

This is a rare opportunity to reconnect with traditional Scout skills that we’ve lost over time.
