This camp will be a step up from the usual—we’re talking a skill-focused, hands-on experience centred around the Scout Survival Badge. More details on the badge can be found here: Scout Survival Skills.
Be prepared for a bigger challenge as there will be no gas for cooking. Instead, you’ll be:
- learning Knife and axe skills
- Fire lighting and cooking over open fires
- Shelter building and sleeping in your shelters
- learning Survival first aid
This is a rare opportunity to reconnect with traditional Scout skills that we’ve lost over time.
