Good evening all

As you will be aware we as a district are pioneering the new transformation roles from headquarters. The basis of the roles are very similar to that of the old ADC titles with some differences. 

The team is made up of people from all over the district, the key people are as follows,

Sam Rowland – Programme team lead – Beavers – @Sam Rowland
Emma Pitcher – Programme team lead – Cubs – @Emma Pitcher
David Clouter – Programme team lead – Scouts @David Clouter
Sam Slater-Smith – Programme Team lead – Explorers @Sam Smith

Adam Thorpe is on the team as a GSL liaison
Celia Comber is on the team as District treasurer
Lee Hodgson is on the team as Webmaster and Event assistance

The primary role is to:

Facilitate access to a quality programme to all young people.
Add in events to the district programme that may not be possible in an evening meeting
Help leaders and helpers in sections to get access to information to assist in delivering a quality programme
Assist in managing District events.

If you have any questions or need help with your section, please contact your programme team lead. 

We have met and have produced a calendar of events for the next year and a quarter. This list may be added to. It is our intention to reinvigorate the district website and have a rolling calendar.

As ever, for these events to happen we will need to be able to staff them and as such we will require your help to be able to deliver these events well. We are aware that communication and notice was an issue in the past, We have the whatsapp groups , for all sections, e-mail and all being well the website. This programme is the first rolling step in getting the events back established.

You will note that there is no St Georges parade on the calendar, it has been decided, given the dates that we will include this as part of the district camp as parades will fall over Easter.
